CAMERATA MALAGAHARMONÍA

15 MUSICIANS, ONE SOUL

The Malagaharmonia chamber orchestra is a string orchestra born in Malaga in 2020, as the formal crystallization of a long collaborative work process amongst its members.

Recently formed, its biography can be no other than that of each of its components, clustered together by a common goal, that of offering, with the highest level of purity and with a renewed reading, the best pages of musical tradition. If it is possible to reconcile modesty with ambition, the Chamber orchestra aspires also to give life to a specifically composed repertoire of its own.

The experience of the musicians who make up its members can be endorsed by their participation in important orchestras and groups both in Spain and abroad. They are professionals trained at prestigious schools worldwide including, amongst others, Hochschule fur Musik (Weimar), Conservatoire Nationale (Paris), Royal Academy (London), Academia Franz Listz (Budapest) and New England Conservatory (Boston).

At the same time, they all have solid careers dedicated to theoretical research, summarised in important publications, and to teaching in diverse music schools.
